Crackers Wither Storm Mod

It is a Forge mod for Minecraft Java Edition by nonamecrackers2 that adds the Wither Storm as a boss. The storm grows through phases, pulls in blocks and creatures, and is defeated through a progression involving the Withered Symbiont, the Command Block Book, the Formidi-Bomb and the command block core.

In a new survival world, go to the rundown house at X: 0, Z: 0 and place the last wither skull on top of the unfinished structure beside it. In Creative or Superflat worlds you can build a normal wither shape and put a command block in the centre instead. There is also an auto-spawn config option that summons it after a delay.

The house generates in new terrain at X: 0, Z: 0. If your world was created before the mod was installed, that area already exists and will not contain it. Create a new world, or build the summoning structure manually in Creative.

The storm starts at phase 0 and grows through several phases, with the final confrontation at phase 7. The end of phase 5 is a key moment because that is when the Withered Symbiont appears and the Formidi-Bomb becomes usable.

Defeat the Withered Symbiont. It is summoned by the command block inside the storm near the end of phase 5 and drops the book when it dies. A Phasometer helps you check when the storm has reached that point.

Put Super TNT in the centre of a crafting grid, gunpowder in the four corners and blaze powder on the four sides. Super TNT itself is crafted using the Command Block Book. Check your in-game recipe book if a layout differs in your version.

By default you have 600 seconds, which is ten minutes, from crafting until detonation. The countdown length can be adjusted in the mod's settings.

It reads the Wither Storm's progress. You can use it to check the current phase and see whether the storm is formidibombable, which tells you when to prepare for the Symbiont.

It cannot follow you through underground cave systems, but caves may shake and some ceiling blocks can come loose while it is above. Caves are a temporary refuge, not a permanent hiding spot.
